I’ve always loved telling stories. Whether it’s through photos, social media, or conversations, it’s something that’s just part of who I am. Writing this blog is another way to share what I see and experience
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much of life feels ordinary. Sure, there are those incredible moments where you can clearly see God at work. I’ve had some of those, especially on the mission field, and I love sharing them because they remind us of how faithful God is. But most of life isn’t like that. It’s not always big or dramatic
What I’ve realized is that God is moving just as much in the little, everyday things. You don’t have to travel across the world to have a story. A lot of times, it’s in the quiet moments, the routines, or the unimportant parts of our day that God is showing us who He is.
It’s easy to think we need to do something huge to see God working but that’s not the case. The Bible is full of stories that are simple and everyday yet they still point to something much bigger. God’s faithfulness is woven into the mundane, and if we slow down enough we can start to notice it.
For me slowing down and paying attention has been a way to see how God speaks in the ordinary. Whether it’s through a conversation with a friend, a quiet moment alone, or even just going about my daily life, there are stories being written all the time
I don’t need a big platform or an extraordinary situation to share about God. Sometimes the most meaningful stories come from the small, simple things that remind us of His presence. And those moments are worth sharing too
So this is me, embracing the everyday and trusting that God is in it, knowing that the little things matter
